King’s College’s Director of Music Daniel Hyde conducts Bach’s St Matthew Passion with the Academy of Ancient Music, Choir of King’s College, Cambridge and the BBC Singers. In the twentieth century the name of King’s College became inextricably entwined with the celebration of Christmas across the English-speaking world. The twenty-first century has seen the very welcome and appropriate balancing of this through the inception, success, and growth of Easter at King’s: a festival of concerts and recitals for Holy Week and Easter.
